First Steps is a licensed educational centre specialising in work with both typically developing children and children with special educational needs. We are in the heart of Plovdiv, at 6 Raya St., entr. B.

We work with the established Montessori method, combining its traditional principles with modern approaches in support of child development. The individual approach to every child is at the core of our philosophy: through freedom within structure, children develop independence, confidence and a love of learning.

Every child, whether living with developmental difficulties, motor, cognitive or sensory challenges, is received with respect, patience and love. We work with the licensed Montessori method adapted to each child's individual needs, because we believe every child deserves the chance to find their own path, at their own pace and with full support.
